2017 DFW College Bound Summit

Dallas ISD is partnering with several colleges and university for the DFW College Bound Summit.  Admission is free for parents and students.  The event takes place on Saturday May 6, 2017 at the Yvonne A. Do you interested in a career in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) then this is a great opportunity for you. B. Davis Scholarship

The B. Davis Scholarship available to all high school juniors and seniors.  The scholarship award is $1,000 to learn more the application procedure and qualification click here.  The scholarship application deadline is May 22, 2017.

Ellen B. DeMar Scholarship

The Ellen B. DeMar Scholarship is a financial aid grant for African-American seniors in the City of Dallas.  The minimum annual scholarship award is $500, but not to exceed $1,000 annually.  To learn about the scholarship qualifications and how to apply click here.  Completed applications must be postmarked by May 30, 2017 and mailed to the address in listed in the application.

ICRI Chapter Scholarship

The International Concrete Repair Institute of North Texas are currently accepting applications for their $1,000 scholarship.  If you are a graduating senior and will pursue a certificate or degree from a college, university, or trade school.  Click here to learn more about this scholarship and view the application.  The application deadline is Friday April 14, 2017 and must be sent the address in the application.  

Si Se Puede Scholarship

The Association of Hispanic School Administrators will provide three $1,000 scholarships for Dallas ISD Hispanic seniors (2016-2017) entering college in the fall of 2017.  If you are a senior and will pursue a degree in education this is the scholarship for you.  Click here to view the application and learn more about this opportunity.  All completed scholarship applications must be postmarked by Monday May 1, 2017 to the address listed at the bottom of the application.

National Council of Jewish Women (HIPPY) Scholarship

If you are a graduating senior and you and your family participated in the Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) program when you were age 3, 4 and 5 years old.  This is a scholarship opportunity for you.  To learn more and view the application click here.  Completed applications must be emailed to the address in the application by Saturday April 15, 2017. 

DSAA Scholarship Application

The Dallas School Administrators Association are currently accepting applications for their $1,000 scholarship.  DISD seniors who are pursuing a degree in education are encouraged to apply. 2017 Immigrant Journey Scholarship

Scheef & Stone, LLP, are seeking applicants for our 2017 Immigrant Journey Scholarship.  The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize inmmigrant or first generation American citizen high school seniors in the DFW area who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and community service.  To learn more and apply click here.  The scholarship deadline is April 30, 2017.

St. Luke Greeter's Scholarship

Seniors St. Luke United "Community" United Methodist Church are currently accepting applications for the St. Luke Greeter's Scholarship.  To learn more about this scholarship and view the application click here. Scholarship for Future Civil Engineers

The American Society of Civil Engineers are currently accepting applications for senior considering a career in engineering.  To learn more about this opportunity and apply online click here.  The scholarship application deadline is Friday April 28, 2017 by 5PM.  

BENTHUL and TETZE Scholarship

Graduating seniors are encouraged to apply for the Herman F. Benthul Scholarship and August Tetze World Peace Award Scholarship.  Each scholarship will award $1,000.  To view the application and lean the scholarship qualifications click the scholarship name Benthul Scholarship and August Tetze World Peace Award. All completed applications must be returned to the Samuell High School Counselor Office by Wednesday May 10, 2017 4PM to be considered for these scholarships.

Attention Seniors,

Sulentic Family Foundation Scholarship

Attention Spartan Seniors,

The Sulentic Family Foundation will award a $10,000 scholarship to three seniors from the 2017 Dallas ISD graduating class.  If you are a senior with a GPA of  2.5 or higher, have financial need, not related to a Dallas ISD employee or any member of the Board of Trustees.  This is a great opportunity for you.  To view the application and requirements click here.  All Samuell senior interested in applying for this scholarship must submit their completed application to Mrs. Lara in the Samuell Counseling Office on or before 3:15 PM on Monday March 20, 2017 to be considered.  

Superintendent's Scholarship Program

Public Affairs Scholarship

The Public Affairs Luncheon Club Scholarship is a $2,000 scholarships open to high school seniors, graduating school with a GPA 3.5 or higher.  If you have volunteered your time with the school and community activities and/or political organizations, services or causes and/or have you worked at paying job.
